I think the main issue with penny auctions is the shilling and bots which the owners seem to set up - there is no way of knowing whether there are real bidders involved, or just bots forcing you to place bids on items which you will never win.

Unfortunately a few bad apples soon ruin the trust users have in this type of site

There are a lot of Penny auctions out there and some are just scamming people for their money !!! here are 2 sites I have been bidding on and both of them are very honest and the customer service is awesome !!!

Pennyauctions.ca is top on the list due to their customer service and fast payout . They also offer Buy It Now !!
The next site i canrecommend is Lincolnbidz.
